A brief report from Matt Drudge of the Drudge report has a very serious headline that claims a story is developing that says the McCain office Denver has received a a death threat and an envelope with white powder inside it. It is unknown now what the white powder is and the death threat is not yet specific.
CBS News is reporting that the white powder was sent to the McCain office in Denver and mentions that the city is on a heightened security alert because of the upcoming Democratic National Convention.

The News network cites a McCain source that says they immediately notified authorities and they turned over the materials and are cooperating fully with the investigation.
The story is in it's early stages and information is scarce and it is unknown if anyone that handled the letter are in any danger.
